From the 1960s the American M60 tank was one of the most widespread machines in Western armies and it saw a long series of versions from the M60A1 to the M60A3. The M60 AVLB bridgelayer was also built on the same chassis. A large chapter is formed by the Israeli upgrades, which go under the names Magach 6B, Gal and Gal Batash and differ from the original machines in armor and equipment. The road wheels are clearly visible on all these vehicles and builders like to replace them on a model, because they are one of the elements that most mark the shape of the running gear.

Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder back so that the circular outline of the wheel is preserved. Wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent before gluing and painting and let them dry. Choose the glue according to the manufacturer's instructions: on parts that are not polystyrene, plastic cement has no effect. Fit the wheels so that they all seat in one plane, otherwise the track cannot be tensioned straight.
