A set of road wheels in 1:35 scale for models of tanks of the M60 series and of the Israeli Magach vehicles. According to the name it contains 14 wheels, in the type 2 version.
Responsibility details are not available.
The American M60 tank was built for decades in the M60A1 to M60A3 versions and became the basis for a whole family of vehicles: it includes the M60 AVLB bridgelayer and the Israeli versions designated Magach, among them the Magach 6B and the upgraded Gal and Gal Batash machines. The road wheels on these vehicles occur in two patterns, steel and aluminum, and mistaking one for the other is clearly apparent on a finished model. This set matches the steel pattern, type 2.
According to the name it is a complete set of fourteen wheels, that is a whole set for one vehicle. The wheels are intended for models in 1:35 scale from the range of vehicles listed in the name. The exact division of the parts, any inserts and hubs and the fitting procedure are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder back, so that the wheel seats on its axle without leaning. The wheels are easier to paint separately before fitting, with the rubber tires finished at the very end, when they are easy to reach. Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent before painting and let them dry. Before you fit the track, check that all the wheels stand in one plane; a wheel set out of true shows up in the track straight away.
The set suits builders who want wheels more faithful than the kit offers, or who need a pattern other than the one in it. The model, the tracks, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
