This is not a tank model but a photo-etched metal detail set from Aber in 1:35 scale. The set holds storage boxes and additional equipment for the German Pz.Kpfw. 38(t) light tank of Czechoslovak origin. The photo-etched parts give the boxes a true wall thickness, hinges and brackets and add small items of equipment that plastic cannot manage.
The Pz.Kpfw. 38(t) was a light tank built in prewar Czechoslovakia as the LT vz. 38 and widely fielded by the German army in the first years of the Second World War. The chassis became the basis of a number of tank destroyers and self-propelled guns.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife and make the bends over a bending tool. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue; add the small items of equipment after period photographs. Apply a metal primer before painting and add pigments.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
