The 1:35 Stuart – AFV Club is a Quickwheel masking set for the road wheels. The precision of the result stands or falls by how you center the mask on the wheel.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory for painting, not a model. The set sets off the face of the wheel against the rubber tire on a road wheel and is cut for the kit from the AFV Club company. We state the target kit because sets for the same vehicle prepared for other kits exist as well, and without that figure you would not know which one you need.
The whole result is decided at the moment of seating. Lay the mask on dry and at first only rest it there: check that the gap between its margin and the edge of the tire is the same around the whole perimeter. It helps to turn the wheel in your fingers and to watch the perimeter against the light, as a lack of alignment is recognized before it is under paint. Only when it fits, press the mask down from the center toward the margins, so that no air is closed in beneath it. Prepare the wheels mounted on the axles or at least on a skewer, so that you can turn them and do not have to touch them with your fingers.
For modelers who are building the kit mentioned and want their running gear cleanly divided into wheel and tire without lengthy blocking out by hand. Working with the set is simple, but it rewards care during the seating.
Paints, thinners and the kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
