A photo-etched brass set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard focused on the interior of a model of the German Sturmgeschütz III assault gun in the Ausf.B version in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit but a set of fine photo-etched parts that complement and refine the inner space of the combat vehicle on a base kit with an open interior.
The StuG III was a German tracked assault gun of the Second World War built on the chassis of the Panzer III tank. The early Ausf.B version carried a short 75 mm gun barrel and originally served for direct fire support of the infantry. The open fighting compartment with the gun crew, the instruments and the ammunition is a rewarding subject for interior detailing.
Photo-etched parts are separated with a sharp knife, shaped with a bending tool and glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The interior is detailed and painted before the hull of the vehicle is closed. Degrease the surface and apply a base coat (primer) before painting; once painted, weathering and picking out the recesses with a wash bring the interior to life.
This is a photo-etched detail accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
