The StuG IV was a German assault gun from the end of the Second World War. It came about by combining the chassis of the Pz.Kpfw. IV medium tank with an assault gun superstructure whose production was already running, and it carries a 7.5 cm gun built into the front plate with no rotating turret. Its low silhouette and angular shapes make it a rewarding subject on which every small accessory and well-executed dusting shows.
This is an accessory set for a StuG IV model in 1:35 scale. Sets of this kind add elements to a kit that injection-molded plastic cannot render with matching fineness, or they replace its coarser parts. First dry-fit the parts on the model and find their exact place; only then reach for the glue. Cut any excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder flat with the surroundings. Before painting, wash and degrease the model and apply a primer, so that the top coat holds equally on the plastic and on the parts from the set.
