Two sheets of self-adhesive masks for the tires of the road wheels of the T-34 tank with the 76 mm gun, for the Dragon model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Soviet medium tank brought together three things that until then had been hard to combine: heavily sloped armor plates, a diesel engine and wide tracks with which the machine got through autumn mud and deep snow alike. The 76 millimeter gun coped with armor as well as with fire support for the infantry. Its weak point remained the two-man turret, in which the commander also worked the weapon and had no time to watch his surroundings. Even so the machine was manufactured in huge numbers and became the measure against which a whole school of design of the day was judged.
On a tracked vehicle it is not about a cockpit. The most laborious painting part is the rubber tires of the road wheels, which are painted dark against the color of the rim. Outlining a circle with a brush by hand rarely turns out well, because the wheel has a sharp transition and the line runs away. The package therefore contains two sheets of circular cut-outs matching the wheels of the Dragon kit in 1:35 scale.
The difference shows mainly on a model with the running gear exposed, where the wheels are in view on both sides and an inaccurate line on one of them spoils the impression of the whole. A pair of sheets covers the usual set of wheels with a spare in case the first attempt does not come off.
This item does not deal with hatches, vision blocks or markings; the whole contents are aimed at the wheels.
