A photo-etched detailing set in 1:35 scale from the Korean brand Tetra Model Works. The set is not a standalone model but an accessory meant to be fitted to the Trumpeter plastic kit of the Russian T-90 main battle tank, or of the T-90A version. The fine metal parts sharpen up the look of the finished model.
The T-90 is a Russian main battle tank derived from the T-72 line, and the T-90A version brought a welded turret and further modernizations. The vehicle carries a 125 mm smoothbore gun with an autoloader and a combination of passive and reactive armor. It forms the basis of the Russian armored forces.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife and make the bends along the etched score lines. Use super glue to bond the metal, and before painting degrease it and go over it with a primer for metal. The fine grilles, the fenders and the tie-down loops show at their best once a wash and dust pigments have been applied.
This is an add-on photo-etched set. The base plastic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
