British armored cars on the Rolls-Royce chassis were among the best-known vehicles of their kind. They appeared as early as the First World War, created from luxury cars fitted with an armored body and a turret with a machine gun, and in various modernized forms they served in the interwar period as well — from home service to deployment in the colonies and in the Middle East. The vehicle became famous for the reliability and durability of its chassis.
Given the fully rendered interior and engine, paint and assemble the inside before you close the body; open hatches make it possible to show the interior. The armor plates are best given a smooth coat over a primer. For weathering use washes in the rivets and the gaps and pigments for dust; you can also choose the glossier, automotive look of the older vehicles.
