This resin accessory in 1:72 scale reproduces the American AN/ALQ-119 electronic warfare jamming pod in the medium length variant. It is not an aircraft model but a stand-alone store that you hang under the wing or fuselage of a model. The part has a fine surface and accurate shapes.
The AN/ALQ-119 is an American electronic countermeasures (ECM) pod used to jam enemy radars. It was carried among others by the A-7, A-10, F-4, F-16, F-111 and F-105, and it was made in several length versions.
Wash the part gently, separate it carefully from the carrier block with a sharp knife or a fine saw and bond it with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Apply a primer before painting; the surface and the stencils come out after an airbrush coat and a fine accent.
It is supplied unassembled and unpainted as an accessory. The aircraft model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
