A green tinting film 1:35 for the Typhoon-K armored car from SX-Art is cut for the kit from Takom. With it the glazing of the model gains the green cast of laminated glass.

An accessory for finishing a model, not a kit. The transparent green material is cut to the shape of the glazing of the Typhoon-K armored car in 1:35 scale and stays on the model permanently. A green cast is typical of thick laminated panes: the more layers the glass has, the more clearly it pulls toward green, and on a finished model that brings it closer to reality at once.
The Typhoon-K has small, thick windows recessed deep into their frames. On a model they are usually cast in clear plastic without any tint at all, so they look more like civilian glazing than ballistic glass. The cut film evens this difference out without any spraying of clear colors, with which it is hard to keep the same saturation on every window. Because SX-Art makes the same green film in a version for a kit from another brand as well, the name of the kit is decisive in this case: this one is cut for Takom.
The film is the final step. Paint the bodywork and the frames first and let them cure, take off any masks, free the transparent parts of dust and grease, and only then offer the film up. Fitting it before painting makes no sense: the aerosol would fog it and the green shade would be lost under a veil. Work with tweezers and touch only the edges, as fingerprints are hard to get off a tinted material.
The package holds the tinting film only. The model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
