Traffic signs of Syria, the period around 2010, 1:35 scale is a diorama accessory from MiniArt. It is not a model of a vehicle but a set for finishing off a setting.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set from MiniArt belongs to its series of traffic signage, in which each item covers one country and one period. This one is aimed at Syrian signage from the time around 2010. It is not a model of a vehicle or a set of figures, but a diorama accessory with which you finish off a road, a crossroads or the edge of a town. The parts are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Traffic signs are among the details that give a diorama a place and a time at once. While a vehicle on its own gives away only the kind of equipment, signage with particular lettering and shapes anchors the scene in a given region beyond doubt. The set therefore suits builds with Middle Eastern subjects, whether a civilian street or military vehicles in action in a built-up area.
Cut the parts from the sprue with cutters and level the cuts with a file. They are glued with ordinary polystyrene cement. It is a good idea to straighten the posts before painting and to dry-fit them so that they stand upright. Apply the primer thinly, so that the engraving stays legible. The signs look more convincing with a slightly faded surface, small scrapes and a layer of dust at the foot of the post. Let any printed markings dry after application and seal them with a matte varnish.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and vehicles are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
