A turret stowage bin for the Pz.Kpfw. IV is a photo-etched detail set from Aber in 1:35 scale for a true bin at the rear of the turret of the German medium tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a tank model but a photo-etched metal detail set from Aber in 1:35 scale. The set serves to build a true rear turret stowage bin, the Rommelkiste, for the German Pz.Kpfw. IV medium tank. The photo-etched walls have the right thickness, hinges and catches, which a plastic molding cannot imitate.
The Pz.Kpfw. IV was the most widespread German medium tank of the Second World War, fielded in many versions throughout the war. At the rear of the turret it carried a large sheet-metal stowage bin for the crew's gear, a typical recognition feature of the vehicle.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife and make the bends over a bending tool for clean edges. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue; the hinges can be left movable. Apply a metal primer before painting, then add pigments and chipped paint.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
