This is an accessory set, not a model of the tank. The set is intended to raise the level of detail on an already built or part-built model of the Tiger I heavy tank in 1:35 scale and does not make up a model on its own. Check the exact package contents, the number of parts and the materials used on the packaging before buying, together with compatibility with the kit you are building.
Sets from the upgrade solutions range replace or supplement the parts of the base kit wherever injection-molded plastic runs up against its limits: thin sheet-metal elements, grilles, brackets, small fittings and finely textured surfaces. The result is a model that holds up under close inspection and in a photograph. Because these are accessories, expect that some plastic parts will have to be cut away or sanded down so that the replacement element seats correctly.
For advanced modelers of German armor who want to take a Tiger I model beyond the level of a straight-from-the-box build. It calls for patience, good tools and a willingness to cut into the parts of the base kit.
