A resin figure in 1:35 scale from MAiM. It captures an American soldier in the role of a machine gunner with a light machine gun, and it comes with a separate base. The figure is intended for more experienced modelers and for builders of dioramas on present-day themes.
The character is sculpted in modern field gear in an active pose working the light machine gun. The separate base makes it possible to display the figure on its own as well as to set it into a larger scene. The modeling treatment puts the emphasis on the detail of the gear and on natural movement.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin casting, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Paint the uniform and the gear with acrylics, oil glazes and washes in the folds; apply a primer before painting. Finish the base with pigments to suit the setting.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
