About product

LZ models US female motorcycle driver II (1:35)

A resin figure from LZ models in 1:35 scale. It represents an American military female motorcycle driver in a working pose. The figure will complete a diorama with military vehicles or a rear-area scene and suits models of period motorcycles.

The real subject

During the Second World War women served in a number of auxiliary and signal roles in the US Army, among others as drivers and messengers. The motorcycle was a fast means of transport for delivering messages and moving between posts. The figure captures such a person in period uniform dress.

Building and painting tips

Wash the mold release residue off the figure, separate the casting blocks and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Bring the uniform to life with shading and a dry brush, and work the face with subtle transitions of shade.

Who the figure is for

  • For builders of military dioramas in 1:35 scale.
  • For adding to scenes with a period motorcycle.
  • The motorcycle model is not included in the package.

The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
