Master Box US Navy WAVES (1:35) is a plastic set of figures from the Women at War range devoted to the women's service of the US Navy.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of injection-molded plastic figures of the Ukrainian manufacturer Master Box, out of the Women at War range. It captures members of the WAVES women's naval service together with men of the US Navy of the Second World War period. The figures suit dioramas on the theme of the rear areas, a harbor or a base.
WAVES (Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service) was the women's branch of the US Navy reserve in the Second World War, established in 1942. The women served in a range of roles and released men for combat duty. The set treats this theme matter-of-factly and adds more civilian, rear-area scenes to otherwise largely combat figure ranges.
Separate the parts, clean them up and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. The uniforms come into their own after a base coat, lightening and a fine wash; paint the faces and the small details in with a brush. An airbrush makes smooth base coats easier.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
