1:35 ventilator covers with screw heads for the Pz. III G-N and Pz. IV A-G is an Elefant resin detail set with contents for two vehicles. It is not a kit but an accessory replacing the simplified parts from the box.

This is a small detail set from the brand Elefant, not a model of a vehicle. The set replaces the ventilator covers on the turret, or rather on the roof of the fighting compartment, in a rendering with the heads of the screws suggested around the circumference. It is precisely these small things that injection-molded plastic captures only in a simplified way: the screw heads tend to be flat or missing altogether and the edge of the cover is thick. A resin casting allows a crisper shape and a legible surface as well. According to the name the set is intended for the Pz. III in the G to N versions and the Pz. IV in the A to G versions, and it is enough for two vehicles.
The Pz. III and the Pz. IV were German tanks of the Second World War which shared a number of design elements and fittings, because they came about at the same time and partly in the same works. The ventilator covers extracted fumes from the fighting compartment and their shape was the same on both types in the versions given, so one accessory covers a wide range of variants. Details changed during production, so it is worth comparing the set with documentation for the particular version you are building.
Cut the original covers off with a scalpel and sand the area flat. Wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water, otherwise paint holds on them less well. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine-toothed saw and sand wet rather than dry, because of the dust. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Once the base color is on, the detail of the screw heads comes into its own if you use a darker wash in the recesses and light drybrushing of the edges in a lighter shade. Leave dust and mud effects with pigment right until the very end.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
