Responsibility details are not available.
A set of injection-molded plastic figures of German soldiers from the campaign in France in 1940 in 1:35 scale from Dragon. The box holds four figures together with personal kit and weapons. The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted; they are intended to be glued, sprayed and finished with a brush.
The set captures members of an early German armed formation (the Verfügungstruppe), out of which one of the Waffen-SS divisions later developed. The figures refer to the western campaign of 1940, when these units fought in France and in the Benelux countries. Their camouflage clothing, which at that stage of the war was not yet common, is a point of interest. The figures are conceived in more relaxed, everyday poses typical of moments away from combat.
First clean the figures carefully of mold flash and glue the body, head and limbs together; fill the seams with a light touch. Paint the faces and hands with layering and glazing, and for the uniforms and camouflage use shades laid on with a brush followed by highlighting and shading. The result comes into its own if you set the figures in a diorama or combine them with a matching vehicle in the same scale.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
