Wall world maps in 1:35 scale: a set of four self-adhesive printed motifs from MAiM for fast, clean decoration of the walls of interior dioramas.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of four self-adhesive sheets with the motif of wall world maps in 1:35 scale from the MAiM range. Note that these are not castings or a kit: they are self-adhesive printed motifs ready for immediate use, so they only have to be taken out and stuck onto a flat surface, and the wall of an interior tells a story at once.
A world map on a wall is a versatile prop: it belongs in a staff room and a command post, in a classroom, an office, an editorial room and the bedroom of an inquisitive boy. In 1:35 scale it goes superbly with the interior furniture of the same range, with tables, cabinets and bunks, and with figures planning their next move around the map. Four motifs in the package let you equip several rooms at once, or choose the one that best suits the colors of the scene.
The surface has to be smooth, dry and free of grease, otherwise the sticker will not hold. Trim the motif accurately with a sharp knife along a metal rule, stick it down from one edge and push the air out as you go. Knock the sheen of the print back by overspraying with matte clear; you age it with a light dusting of pigment or a very thin brown wash around the edges. One corner of the map can be lifted very slightly, and it then looks as though it has hung on the wall for years.
It is supplied as a set of four self-adhesive printed motifs; these are not castings and the motifs are meant to be stuck onto a smooth surface.
