Building and painting tips

First wash the mold release residue off the parts, carefully cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Apply a primer, then the base metal or painted shade, and finish the wear with washes, pigments and stippled rust.
