A photo-etched set for a model of the German Pz.Kpfw.II Ausf.G light tank in 1:35 scale, in the B version, which according to the name includes a gun barrel.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Pz.Kpfw.II was a German light tank which in the first years of the Second World War made up a large part of the armored units, even though it had originally been intended only as an interim type. The Ausf.G version is one of the development variants of the family and differs from the commonly known machines in the layout of the running gear.
Photo-etched parts for a model in 1:35 scale, offered in the B version, which according to the name includes a gun barrel. The photo-etched fret replaces plastic parts where the material ought to be thin: covers, mesh, brackets and similar small items come out substantially finer in photo-etched form. The exact contents and the assembly procedure are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The parts are held in the fret by thin tabs. Separate them with a sharp blade on a hard surface or with photo-etch scissors, and never break them out, otherwise they will bend. Make the bends in a bending tool or over a sharp edge, and bend long parts along their whole length at once. Glue with cyanoacrylate applied on the tip of a wire, or with a two-part epoxy where you need time to position a part. Before painting, degrease the parts and lay on a primer, otherwise the finish will peel off during handling.
The set is for more advanced modelers who want to take a model as far as the detail goes and who do not mind working with small parts. Check the target kit against the manufacturer's part number for this set before buying. The model, the paints and the glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
