This is a resin figure of a rifleman of the US Marine Corps (USMC) of the Second World War and the Korean War period, in 1:35 scale. It rounds out American vehicles and dioramas of that period.
Marine riflemen formed the backbone of the USMC infantry units in the Pacific and in the Korean War alike. Their gear and weapons largely overlapped between the two periods. The figure captures a rifleman as a historical military type usable for both periods.
This is a resin figure for more experienced modelers. First wash the parts in lukewarm water with a little dish soap to remove any mold release agent from the mold. Carefully cut off the casting blocks and the pour stubs and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue, and use a primer suitable for resin as the base. The figure can be painted by brush or airbrush, and faces and shadows model well with oil paints and glazes.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin casting. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
