External fuel tanks and smoke cylinders of Soviet tanks, 1:35 scale is an add-on set for a kit you already own, not a model. It brings the equipment that appears regularly at the rear of Soviet tanks.

An add-on set from Voyager Model, listed as the second version, devotes itself to the external fuel tanks and smoke cylinders, that is the cylindrical bodies carried at the rear and on the sides of Soviet tanks. It is not a kit of the vehicle but an accessory for a model in 1:35 scale you already have. The name of the set does not pin down a single particular type of vehicle; a more general use on Soviet and related equipment is reckoned with.
Soviet tracked equipment routinely carried additional fuel tanks outside the hull, in order to extend its range without enlarging the internal volume. These were thin-walled cylindrical bodies fastened in stirrups and tightening straps, which could be jettisoned quickly if need be. Alongside them, smoke cylinders serving to screen movement also appeared at the rear. Both were easily removable, so the makeup of the equipment differed from vehicle to vehicle.
This set combines well with further accessories, because the rear of Soviet tanks offers room for a composition of your own. Before you start gluing, lay the arrangement out dry and check photographically what belongs to the given vehicle and period. Cylindrical bodies look convincing when they are not perfect: a mild dent, rubbed paint and rusty traces around the straps give them life. Unify metal and plastic parts with a common base, otherwise the difference will show in the shade. Weather the tightening straps in a darker tone, so that they separate optically from the tank.
The set is an accessory, not a model. It does not hold the kit of the vehicle, glue or paints.
