1:35 M4 Sherman mid production — photo-etched set is an accessory for a plastic kit you already own, not a standalone model. The brass parts sharpen up the details of the hull and the fittings, and the set is cut for the Dragon 6511 and Tamiya 35190 kits.

This detail set from Voyager Model is meant for a plastic model of the American M4 medium tank in its mid-production variant. It is not a kit of the tank but an aftermarket accessory for the Dragon 6511 and Tamiya 35190 models.
The M4 Sherman was the most widespread American medium tank of the Second World War, built at many plants and in a series of production batches that differ in the shape of the hull, the arrangement of the hatches, the bulges over the crew positions and in details of the suspension. Mid-production vehicles stand between the early and the late batches and carry a combination of features from both. That is exactly why, with a Sherman, it pays to buy a set aimed at a particular production variant rather than a universal one.
The most common mistake with photo-etched parts is too much glue. Put a drop on a scrap of plastic or foil and pick it up with the tip of a pin or a thumbtack ground to a point; only as much as is needed then reaches the model. Thin cyanoacrylate draws itself under a part by capillary action, so it is enough to lay the part on dry and bring the glue in from the side. On longer parts a gel version is better, as it gives a few seconds to align them. Use accelerator sparingly, because rapidly cured glue blooms white and leaves marks at the edges that then show through the paint.
This is an add-on set for a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
