A reinforced concrete hedgehog (rozsochac), 1:35, 5 pieces is a diorama accessory representing an anti-tank obstacle, not a vehicle model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of diorama accessories in 1:35 scale from the Czech manufacturer ROP o.s. The package contains 5 reinforced concrete hedgehogs, known in Czech as a rozsochac. It is not a vehicle model or a kit of equipment but a scenery accessory with which you can bring dioramas and display cases with a military theme to life. The pieces simply need to be cleaned up, painted and set into a base.
A rozsochac is an anti-tank obstacle made up of several reinforced concrete arms radiating from a common center. It is a Czech invention from the time when the Czechoslovak border fortifications were being built in the 1930s. Thanks to its weight and its shape it prevented armored vehicles from passing and strengthened lines of obstacles. It is a characteristic element of prewar Czechoslovak defensive architecture.
First remove any casting residue from the pieces and wash them. Concrete looks faithful after gray tones have been sprayed on and emphasized with pigments and washes, which suggest dirt, moss and the marks of age. Then set the hedgehogs into a diorama base, ideally as a group in a line of obstacles.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. Keep out of the reach of children.
