PLA Navy Type 052C DDG-170 LanZhou 1:350 is an injection-molded plastic kit of the Chinese guided missile destroyer from the manufacturer Trumpeter.

The kit captures the Chinese guided missile destroyer LanZhou of the Type 052C in 1:350 scale. The model from the manufacturer Trumpeter has a well worked hull and superstructure and holds photo-etched parts for the mast and a model of the shipboard helicopter. It is a striking example of modern Chinese naval equipment.
The Type 052C is a class of Chinese guided missile destroyers and represents the first vessels of the PLA Navy with active phased array radar panels and surface-to-air missiles with vertical launch. The ship is meant for air, anti-submarine and anti-surface defense; it carries anti-ship missiles, a gun, close-in weapon systems and a hangar for a helicopter. LanZhou is one of the first vessels of this class.
Decide beforehand according to the hull version you choose. Glue the plastic with a thin cement and sand the hull seams over. Glue the photo-etched mast, the radar panels and the antennas with cyanoacrylate glue. Lay the gray shades on with an airbrush over a primer and accent the superstructure and the panels.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
