Turned 356 mm barrels in 1:350 scale from the maker Aber. A set of 8 metal barrels of the main caliber for the Japanese battleships of the Kongo class.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of eight turned metal barrels in 1:350 scale from the Polish maker Aber. They replace the plastic barrels of the main artillery of 356 mm caliber on models of the Japanese battleships Kongo, Haruna, Hiei and Kirishima. It is a detail accessory, not a model of a ship.
The fast battleships of the Kongo class carried a main armament of 356 mm caliber in twin turrets. Turned metal captures the profile and the muzzle of the guns faithfully, and in this scale they are markedly finer than injection-molded plastic.
Cut the plastic barrels off and replace them with the metal parts. Square up the ends, degrease the brass and roughen it lightly, then glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Lay down a primer suitable for metals before painting.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
