Responsibility details are not available.
A set of turned metal barrels in 1:350 scale from the Polish maker Aber. They replace the plastic barrels of the main artillery of 381 mm caliber (the L42 Mk.I type, the short version) on models of British battleships and battlecruisers. It is a detail accessory, not a model of a ship.
The 381 mm caliber made up the main armament of units such as the Hood, the Repulse, the Queen Elizabeth and the Vanguard. The short version of the barrels matches one particular form of the guns on some of these vessels; turned metal captures the muzzle and the profile more faithfully than injection-molded plastic.
Cut the original plastic barrels off and replace them with the metal parts. Square up the ends, degrease the brass and roughen it lightly, then glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Lay down a primer suitable for metals before painting.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
