This set from the manufacturer MASTER brings 20 turned metal barrels for the British Vickers anti-aircraft machine gun of .50 caliber (12.7 mm). It was the standard light anti-aircraft weapon of the Royal Navy in the interwar period and at the beginning of the Second World War, that is before Oerlikon cannons replaced it in service.
The precisely machined metal barrels have a sharp muzzle and faithful proportions, which injection-molded plastic parts usually do not reach. The parts only have to be separated from their carrier, cleaned up and seated on the existing mountings of the model. The result is a markedly finer and more realistic detail of the light anti-aircraft armament.
The set is intended for modelers who want to lift the look of the deck armament of their ships in 1:350 scale.
