A kit of the Skoda 1201 car in the taxi version in 1:43 scale. It belongs to the range of kits in which the parts are joined without glue.
Responsibility details are not available.
In the nineteen fifties the Skoda 1201 was one of the pillars of Czechoslovak car production. It was made in several body versions and, besides private owners, it was used by enterprises, offices and the taxi service. The taxi version is therefore among the period-faithful subjects that will supplement the ordinary civilian versions of the same car in a collection.
This is a model in 1:43 scale from the kits that are assembled without glue. The parts are joined by their shape, so the build is a matter of moments and calls for no experience with gluing or with an airbrush. How many parts the set contains and in what order they are put together is given in the maker's instructions.
Clean the mating surfaces before joining and cut any excess material and traces of manufacture off with a sharp blade a little way from the part; sand the remainder down with fine abrasive paper. Try the parts dry and do not force them. Stand the finished model out of direct sunlight, which takes saturation from the colors, and remove the dust from it with a soft brush, so that the paint is not scratched.
The set is suitable for collectors of Czechoslovak cars, for modelers who want a quick result without glue, and as a gift for anyone interested in the history of urban transport. In collectible cars, 1:43 is among the most common scales, so the model will take its place among the other cars in a display case without trouble.
Paints, glue and a display case are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
