Responsibility details are not available.
This is a finished collector's model in 1:43, supplied completely assembled and painted. Nothing on it is glued, sanded or sprayed; once unpacked you stand it straight into a display case. The real subject is the closed Skoda 1202 van in the period livery of a delivery vehicle for a meat and sausage shop, that is with company lettering on the sides of the box body, as the streets of the 1960s knew it.
The Skoda 1202 was a utility range that followed on from the 1201 type in the 1960s. It was built as an estate, a flatbed, an ambulance and a closed van. A liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder engine of about 1.2 liters provided the power, and the rear axle was driven. The van form was the backbone of deliveries to the retail network: vehicles with company lettering supplied food shops, bakeries and butchers, and their liveries are a popular collecting subject today.
The colors and the company lettering are applied at the factory. Pick the model up by the body, not by thin features such as mirrors, wipers or trim strips. Remove dust with a soft brush or an air blower; a cloth can pull the small parts off. The lettering on the sides of the box body is the most sensitive place on the model; do not touch it with your fingers and do not clean it with chemicals.
This is a finished collector's model, not a kit. It is not intended as a toy for small children.
