Eduard 1:48 Mil Mi-35M photo-etched seat belts are pre-colored belts of photo-etched steel for the crew seats in a model of this attack helicopter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of photo-etched seat belts from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for a plastic model of the Mi-35M attack helicopter in 1:48 scale. The belts are of steel and are supplied pre-colored, so it is enough to separate them from the fret, shape them and seat them in the cabin. It is not a kit nor a whole detail set for the interior, but a targeted accessory.
Seats in injection-molded plastic tend to have the belts only suggested in relief, or they do not hold them at all. On a helicopter with extensive cabin glazing there is a clear view into both crew stations, so an empty seat catches the eye at once. Photo-etched steel is springy and holds a bend well, which makes it possible to sag a belt realistically over the edge of the seat or to leave it lying loose.
Separate the parts with a sharp scalpel against a hard support. Shape them with tweezers and your fingers, but do not bend them repeatedly in one place, as the steel will crack there. Glue them in spots with super glue, or with white PVA glue when you need time to seat them. Do not spray over the color print; a light wash or dry pastel will give a worn look instead. Seat the belts before you close the cabin up with the glazing.
It is an accessory for a plastic model, not a kit. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
