This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:48 scale from Hobby Boss captures the two-seat AMX-T trainer version of the AMX attack aircraft. The kit offers accurate shapes, fine surface detail and a breakdown into several sprues with photo-etched parts added, so that it builds into a faithful model with its tandem cockpit.
The AMX is a subsonic attack aircraft for close air support, battlefield interdiction and reconnaissance, developed by an Italian-Brazilian consortium. The two-seat AMX-T version serves for training as well as for combat tasks; the aircraft is set up to operate from less well equipped or damaged runways and to fly low-level missions by day and by night.
Finish both cockpits and the instrument panels before you close the fuselage. Smooth the joints out carefully by sanding; a primer base and an airbrush will give you an even foundation. Apply the decals over a gloss coat and seal them with a matte or semi-gloss clear coat, depending on the marking scheme you choose.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
