Furball Aero-Design 1:48 AV-8A/C USMC Jump Jets – decals

A set of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale from the American brand Furball Aero-Design. It offers a wide palette of color and marking schemes for the first generation of vertically launched Harriers of the US Marine Corps (USMC) in the AV-8A and AV-8C versions. A set of technical lettering in a quantity sufficient for two complete models is part of it as well. The decals are printed by the renowned Cartograf press, which guarantees saturated colors and sharp registration.

What the set is for

The early Harriers of the USMC wore colorful unit markings and this set gives a modeler the chance to choose from a number of particular machines. The combination of interesting schemes and quality printing is among the best that can be transferred onto a model.

Use and tips

• go over the area under the decals with gloss varnish
• apply the decals by the wet method, one at a time and in order from the large areas
• use decal softener to let them flow into the panels
• fix them with matte or semi-gloss varnish according to the type of machine

Who the set is for

• modelers building the AV-8A/C Harrier in 1:48 scale
• anyone interested in a choice from several USMC unit schemes

This is a set of decals, not a model. The base kit, paints and varnishes are not included in the package.
