A resin set of wheels in 1:48 scale from DEF Model, the third in the range of accessories for refining a plastic model of the B-17 Flying Fortress bomber in the F and G versions. It replaces the stock plastic wheels with detailed resin parts with a faithful tread and hubs. It is not a kit of the aircraft but an accessory for a base model. The target kit is the Revell one.
The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress was an American four-engine heavy bomber of the Second World War, famous for the strength of its structure and its heavy defensive armament. The F and G versions were the most widespread production variants.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Check the correct rotation of the tire contact patches.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
