A set of photo-etched parts from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:48 scale, belonging to the Zoom range. Zoom is a shortened version of the full interior set: you get the main colored pre-printed cockpit parts in it, typically the instrument panels and the harness, but without the supplementary bare parts that the large interior set contains. That makes Zoom distinctly smaller in scope and also quicker to fit. It is not a kit and not a model, but an accessory for the plastic model of the twin-engine Bf 110E in night fighter configuration.
There are three related photo-etched items for this machine and they are easy to confuse, because the name of this one is the shortest and contains neither the word interior nor exterior. The full interior set is the most extensive. The exterior set is bare brass for the outside of the airframe and has nothing to do with the cockpit. This set from the Zoom range is the narrowest of the three on purpose: it takes the most visible items from the interior and leaves the rest alone.
The Messerschmitt Bf 110 is a twin-engine heavy fighter with a long glazed cockpit. The E version was created as a fighter-bomber with a strengthened structure and external stores. The designation Nachtjäger means night fighter, that is operations after dark. The cockpit of this type is extensively glazed, so even a selective set of colored parts shows up well on the finished model.
Do not overspray the colored parts; the printing is their whole point. Back the self-adhesive layer up with a drop of cyanoacrylate at the edge of the part so that it holds permanently. Fit the instrument panel onto its plastic backing only after that backing has been painted dark, so that any gap does not shine through. Bend the harness slightly before fitting it, so that it looks loosely draped. Finish the cockpit before you glue the fuselage halves together.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
