Photo-etched metal parts from the manufacturer Eduard for the landing gear and the exterior of a model of the bomber Boeing B-17F Flying Fortress in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Boeing B-17F Flying Fortress is an American four-engined heavy bomber of the Second World War. You will tell the F version by the nose ending in a clear part without the transverse division that the older form still had. The main landing gear retracts into the inner engine nacelles only partly and the bottom of the wheel stays visible even in flight, so the landing gear bays and the legs are well accessible to the eye on the model even after it is finished.
Photo-etched metal parts for the landing gear and the exterior of a model of the B-17F in 1:48 scale. The elements are etched from thin sheet and are held on a common fret, from which they are cut out one by one. Thin sheet makes a thickness possible on the covers, the doors and the small surface elements that a plastic part cannot reach. The range of the set, the placing of the parts and the kit the set is cut for are stated in the instructions from the manufacturer.
Separate the parts on a hard surface with a sharp blade and lead the pressure straight down, so that the edge stays straight. Make the bends over a metal edge in one pull. They are glued with super glue applied in a minute amount with the tip of a wire. Paint and shade the inside of the landing gear bays before you close a bay up, as afterward you will not get inside. Degrease the surface before painting and apply a thin base coat; on bare metal the paint rubs off during handling.
The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
