Browning .303 caliber Mk.I/Mk.II (4 pcs) 1:48 is a resin detail set from GasPatch models — four castings of the British Browning aircraft machine gun.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not an airplane kit but a supplementary set from GasPatch models. The package holds four resin castings of the British Browning .303 caliber (roughly 7.7 mm) aircraft machine gun in the Mk.I and Mk.II versions, in 1:48 scale. The set serves to refine the armament of plastic aircraft models.
The Browning .303 caliber was the standard aircraft machine gun of the Royal Air Force in the 1930s and in the Second World War. It grew out of the licensed Colt-Browning machine gun, adapted for the British cartridge. It was installed mainly as a wing weapon — British fighters carried it in larger numbers so that a short burst delivered enough firepower. The Mk.I and Mk.II versions differed mainly in the treatment of the muzzle.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent residue, cut the casting blocks off and sand the surfaces lightly with respiratory protection. Bond the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Bring out the metal parts with steel shades and a fine wash.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
