A set of photo-etched metal parts for completing a model of the jet fighter aircraft Canadair Sabre F.4 in 1:48 scale. The range of the set is stated in the instructions from the manufacturer.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Canadair Sabre is the Canadian license form of the American single-engined jet fighter aircraft F-86 Sabre, that is, a machine with a swept wing and with the air intake in the nose. The designation F.4 matches the British way of marking and was carried by the machines which in the 1950s reinforced the fighter force of the Royal Air Force (RAF) at a time when it needed a quick replacement for older types. The Sabre is one of the aircraft that gave the jet fighter generation of the 1950s its characteristic silhouette.
Photo-etched metal parts for completing a plastic kit of this aircraft. The exact list of the parts, their placing on the model and the kit to whose dimensions the etching is cut are stated in the instructions from the manufacturer; go through them before the build.
Photo-etched metal is malleable, but a part that has once been bent is hard to straighten, so lead the bends over a bending tool or a metal ruler and in one go along the whole length. Separate the parts with a sharp blade on a hard surface and sand the remaining nub with a fine file. Make the joints with super glue applied with the tip of a wire. Degrease the metal before painting and go over it with a base color, otherwise the coat will rub off during handling.
The kit of the aircraft, paints, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
