Responsibility details are not available.
A set of quality waterslide decals in 1:48 scale intended to complete a plastic model of the postwar Czechoslovak Avia S-199 fighter. These are aftermarket markings from the Czech maker AML, not a kit. The decals let you finish a model in an authentic period scheme with the correct national and tactical symbols.
The Avia S-199, nicknamed Mezek, meaning mule, was a postwar fighter derived from the Messerschmitt Bf 109 and built in Czechoslovakia at the end of the 1940s. Because of a shortage of the original powerplants it received a Junkers Jumo 211 engine, which gave it its characteristic handling. The machine served with the Czechoslovak Air Force and some examples reached other countries as well.
Apply the decals over a smooth gloss coat, which prevents silvering. Cut the item out as close to the motif as possible, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and, once it releases from the backing, slide it onto the model. A softening solution helps it settle perfectly over rivets and panel lines. Finally, seal it with a matte or semi-gloss clear coat.
This is a decal set only. The model, paints and clear coat are not included in the package.
