AML decals 1:48 Red Devils with Rockets — part III — the third installment of the Czech decal line on Soviet aircraft with rocket armament in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The third part of the decal line from the Czech manufacturer AML devoted to Soviet aircraft with rocket armament, in 1:48 scale. The line maps a rarely covered subject and every part brings a different choice of markings, so the third installment will be appreciated by builders of a single model and by collectors who want the line complete alike.
Unguided rockets gave Soviet aircraft a striking power that gun armament could not offer. They were used against columns, fortifications and aircraft, and their racks appeared on fighters and ground attack aircraft throughout the war. Aircraft with rocket armament went through the fighting from the first days of the German attack to the closing offensives, and they therefore offer a wide palette of camouflage schemes and personal markings.
Store the decal sheet flat, in a dry place and out of direct light, as the carrier film grows brittle in time. If you reach for an older sheet, spray it with a thin coat of clear varnish before use; the film is strengthened and the subjects will not fall apart during application. The application itself is the classic wet method on a gloss base.
This is a stand-alone decal set; the kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
