A colored (pre-painted) photo-etched set of the Eduard brand in 1:48 scale aimed at the faithful detail of the ejection seats of the NACES type of the EA-18G Growler. It is not a model of an airplane but an accessory (a detail set) that enriches the seats of the pilot and of the operator with safety belts, handles and fine stiffeners in metal.

The real subject

The Boeing EA-18G Growler is a two-seat carrier-based electronic warfare aircraft derived from the F/A-18F Super Hornet fighter. It serves for the suppression and the jamming of hostile air defenses. The crew sits on Martin-Baker ejection seats of the NACES type, which make up a striking part of the cockpit.

Usage tips

The colored parts are pre-painted and there is no need to paint over them. Separate the parts from the fret with a sharp knife and form them with tweezers or in a photo-etch bending tool. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Finish the seats before you close the cockpit up.
