The extended (ADVANCED) set of precisely cut self-adhesive masks of washi (kabuki) tape. Compared with the basic version it holds, besides the masks for the canopy glazing and the frames, masks for the landing gear wheels and possibly further transparent parts as well. It makes it possible to spray both the canopy and the color separation of the tires from the wheel rims cleanly. This is not a model or decals but an aid to painting a model of the two-seat Lightning T.4 and T.5 in 1:48 scale.
The English Electric (BAC) Lightning was a British supersonic interceptor with two jet engines one above the other. The T.4 and T.5 training versions had two side-by-side seats and a wider nose; they were used for converting pilots to the single-seat combat versions.
The masks are an aid to painting, not a model. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
