An Aber 1:48 photo-etched set for the StuG III Ausf.G (the early version) is a group of brass parts for refining a model of the German assault gun. It is an accessory to the build, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched set from the Polish maker Aber in 1:48 scale intended for models of the German Sturmgeschütz III Ausf.G assault gun in the early production version. The set replaces and adds to the plastic fittings with thin brass parts and so markedly raises the realism of a model. It is not a kit but an added detail accessory to the build.
The StuG III was a German self-propelled assault and anti-tank vehicle built on the chassis of the Pz.Kpfw.III tank. The Ausf.G version was the most widespread and carried the 7.5 cm StuK 40 L/48 gun. The early machines of the G series differed from the later production vehicles in the form of the superstructure, the mantlet and other details.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife or photo-etch scissors and make the bends on a bending tool. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue or epoxy; degrease the brass before painting and spray it with a base coat. Working with photo-etch is better suited to more experienced modelers.
This is an accessory, not the model itself. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
