Responsibility details are not available.
A multimedia kit of the single-seat Grunau Baby IIb training glider from the Polish manufacturer FLY. The set combines injection-molded plastic with resin parts, photo-etched metal and a decal sheet; it is a short-run kit aimed rather at more experienced modelers. This boxing brings the versions with German markings.
The Grunau Baby is a classic single-seat training glider of wooden construction, and its origin goes back to a design by Edmund Schneider from the early 1930s. The IIb version became one of the most widespread training sailplanes of its day and was used for basic unpowered flying in a number of countries. It is marked out by its strut-braced high wing and its simple, robust structure.
First wash the mold release residue off the resin parts and cut off the casting blocks, then glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Dry-fit the injection-molded parts and fill the joints. An airbrush, a fine primer and matte shades suit the slender structure; apply the decals over a smooth gloss varnish and seal them with a matte clear coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
