A set of self-adhesive painting masks from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:35 scale. The pre-cut masks help you separate the rubber tire bands of the road wheels cleanly from their hubs, so that the paint creates a crisp transition without laborious covering up. This is an accessory which is applied to the parts of the base kit, not a model in its own right; the kit has to be obtained separately.
The Pz.Kpfw. 38(t) was a light tank originating from a Czechoslovak design which the German army used on a large scale during the Second World War. The Ausf.E and F variants were among the later series with strengthened armor. The reliable chassis of this vehicle became the basis of a number of tank destroyers and self-propelled guns.
Stick the masks onto cleaned and degreased wheel parts, press the edges down carefully and apply the paint in thin coats. Once dry, take the masks off carefully. For a faithful look, a matte period base complemented with weathering proves itself.
