This is a resin detail set from the manufacturer Armory, not an aircraft kit. It replaces the plastic wheels from the box with cast resin wheels with sagging (weighted) tires, which faithfully imitate the settling of a machine onto the ground. The set is intended for models of the Hawker Sea Hawk in 1:48 scale.
The Hawker Sea Hawk was a British single-seat carrier jet fighter and attack aircraft of the early 1950s. It served with the Royal Navy and with other navies and became one of the first successful jet machines operated from aircraft carriers. The characteristic landing gear tires are among the details that add markedly to the realism of a finished model.
First wash the resin parts free of the remains of mold release agent, carefully cut off the casting blocks and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. It is a good idea to spray the wheels separately and to knock the surface of the tire down slightly to matte, then to fine-tune the hubs according to the color scheme of the machine.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
