A set of decals in 1:48 scale for a model of the Soviet ground attack aircraft Ilyushin Il-10, together with reference material for colors and markings.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Ilyushin Il-10 was a Soviet ground attack aircraft that replaced the famous Il-2 toward the end of the Second World War. It kept to the proven layout with an armored forward fuselage and a crew of two, but it was all-metal, aerodynamically cleaner and more nimble to fly. After the war it served with a whole range of Eastern Bloc armies, and in Czechoslovakia it was built under license as the Avia B-33. That is exactly why its markings are rewarding for modelers: the same silhouette hides several users and markedly different finishes.

The decals are transferred from their backing with water. First varnish the place under the decal with a gloss clear coat, because on a matte surface air is trapped under the film and a silvery veil results. Cut the motif off as closely as possible, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until it starts to slide freely on the paper. Seat it with a damp brush and draw the excess water off with the edge of a paper towel. On an uneven surface, around rivets and in recesses a softener helps; once dry, unify the whole model with a matte varnish.
Paints, glue and modeling tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
