The Ju-88C was a twin-engined aircraft derived from the bomber version, adapted for night and long-range fighter duties. The glazed nose gave way to a solid nose with fixed armament and instruments for operating in the dark. The cockpit stayed roomy and busy, so it is clearly visible in a model.
Metal is glued to plastic with cyanoacrylate glue; ordinary cement for polystyrene does not work here. More practical than the thin version is gel: it gives you a few seconds to line the part up and does not run where it should not. Squeeze a drop onto a piece of foil and apply it with the tip of a toothpick or a thin wire, never straight from the bottle. If the glue goes white, the layer was too thin over a large area; next time apply only three or four spots around the edge of the part. Let the joints cure without an accelerator wherever the part is visible, because an accelerator dulls the glue.
